weekly coaching groups
Transition Coaching offers up to ten organised (coach led) sessions per week. These are mostly designed for kids who wish to participate in competitive multisport events such as duathlon and triathlon, but we also cater for kids who also want to be competitive in a single endurance sport, whether it be swimming, cycling or running.
Mark has been coaching youth athletes since 2010. In that time he has coached and supported them through to numerous regional and national and international championships.
As a teen, Mark was a competitive swimmer, reaching national age group level. Up to ten swim sessions a week was a pretty good background to take on triathlon in the mid 1980's. In the following decades came hundreds of triathlons, duathlons, cycle races, mountain bike races and xterra races.
In 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2018 Mark represented NZ as a member of the Tri NZ Age Group Team.
In 2013, Mark became an Accredited Tri NZ Coach
